I too, had the feeling. My kids and I got on our knees and prayed. At 9:40 it was like when you are in labor...and in pain...but then all of a sudden something changes and you know it's time. (moms who've had natural childbirth know what I mean)It sure made me jump to my knees!

I was hopeful for a while but after hearing him on Greta he did not do better. He needed to argue for a de novo review of disputed facts, as was the clear intent of Congress. Instead he argued weak legal losers. Greer probably followed the law. The problem is he was wrong on the facts and should not be the sole decision maker when a life hangs in the balance. That's what the Congress said. Gibbs did not argue this.

This is our job. We must not let her die in vain. She dies for all of us. That is why we have all been suffering with her this week. At least I know I have. I'm not comparing my suffering to hers but I've been really upset about this.

BTW I want to thank everyone on these threads, even the ones who think the tube should stay out. I've been able to work through my feelings here in ways that I never could with my friends and colleagues.

Could be. I figure they are just doing their jobs. The news has turned into a soap opera. We seem to know so much about these people (the newscasters)...just like we would any other celebrity. I don't know why. I somewhat think that after the death of Princess Diana suddenly we needed news all the time. I remember telling my husband who was in the miltary (Saudi Arabia at that time) that when Princess Diana died we saw the beginning of a new culture with 24 hour a day news. Not like the CNN 30 minute news, but news where we had to be right there on the spot all the time. It has changed our culture very quickly.
