Has everyone just heard David Boies talk on Fox? This case is getting weirder and weirder...

His point is that if Terri stated that she wanted to die in this condition, that it would be a violation of her rights to insert the feeding tube.

But if she did not say that, that it would be a violation of her rights to not replace the tube now.

He stated that the federal court DID NOT look at this question, BECAUSE the Schindler's atty DID NOT ASK IT TO.

Didn't Freeper Nick Danger say the same thing??

So, in effect, NONE of these oft-mentioned 19+ lawyers have even addressed this issue...

The legal mind-f-----g continues, the clock ticks. David Boies lost his last three big cases (Bush v. Gore, Microsoft and Napster.) We must stop worshipping these false idols, starting with celebrities and lawyers.

I was thinking the same thing. It's appearing that the family lawyers are pretty inept.

I watched the Fox report with Susan Estrich (sp?) Lawrence Tribe and David Boies. Of the three Boies made the most sense with Estrich not far behind. Usually I agree little with either of them. However, Boies seemed to be the better at correctly IMHO describing the legal proceedings.

Tribe showed his usual lib colors and just mouthed the line of how the issue is a manufactured one, that she is a vegetable and had said she didn't want to live that way. He could be the "husband's" attorney instead of a legal expert. What a worthless jerk, again MHO.

I am glad for W's last two wins, otherwise Tribe would eventually make his way to the SC. God help us if that happened.
