Its a hard thing to watch a loved one die in front of your eyes. My Mom had a brain tumor as well.

Your mother was dying. Terri was not dying until they stopped feeding her. Why is it so hard for those like you to understand this?

Terri died 15 years ago IMHO. Since then she has been forced to "live" a hellish and agonizing "life" with her soul suspended between Heaven and Earth.

The poor woman has no conscious thoughts in whats left of her mind and if she was not kept "alive" by totally unnatural means, she would have been with the Lord for years now.

But no some people want to make a big political circus out of her suffering. People who should know better want to use the constitution as TP in this case. We have Congress and the President joining in the grand showboating scheme.

And to top it all off, now many on this board want, even demand that the governor and the President break the law and take it into their own hands! Many on this board want mob rule. Many are calling for the Governor of Florida to take the law into his own hands and use the national guard as his own private army to do with as he sees fit!

IMHO crazed fanatics have seized control of the pro-life movement and ran it off a cliff in this case! Where is the concern for the poor little babies murdered each and everyday in this country? They are not brain-dead until the bloody abortionist gets his hands on them anyway.

The President and the Republican Congress pay lip service to the abortion issue but they will never do one thing to stop it. So to keep the pro-life voters in line they trump up this poor womens travail into a circus atmosphere and USE HER life and death to generate votes!

The political grandstanding on this issue is gonna backfire on the republicans big-time. A large majority of Americans are against what the President and Congress have done here.

The Federal government has no business or right to but into a state issue in this case. Is the President planning on intervening in each case like this that comes up? Because it happens hundreds of time a year!

The same 'compassionate conservatives' that want to destroy Medicaid and Medicare want to extend the suffering of Terri who is on it to pay the outrageous bills being in a hospital for 15 plus years generates!

Let God decide Terri's fate, not Tom Delay, President Bush, or Jeb and the National Guard!
