I am getting ready to send a contribution to Casey in PA for starters.
If Janet Reno can send people to “rescue” Elian for Castro:
Why can’t you or the President send people to rescue/remove Terri from that hospice for the sake of her God given life?
Why can’t you or the President place her under protective custody??
What happened to that Congressional witness subpoena protection?
Was it a lot of hot air? Mere appeasement of the base?
Why can’t you or the President investigate this whole matter including her “husband’s” role in all of this?
Why does Terri’s “husband” want her dead so bad? What about Terri’s civil rights?
I think he is murdering her “legally”!
What about those two nurse witnesses on Hannity yesterday? Are they lying – or are they telling the SAD and IGNORED truth?
RESCUE – THEN - INVESTIGATE!!!
Death row criminals receive better treatment than Terri Schiavo receives – years of solitary/secluded/isolated confinement.
If Terri dies, the Republican Party can forget it, you will lose your base.
I for one of many will dump the ineffective compromised hobbled SOFT Republican Party and help a new TRULY PRO-LIFE third party REGARDLESS of whether it will have any chance at all of winning – THAT’S just how firm I am about this issue!!
I have never talked like this before. It is mighty uncomfortable to have to write this.
Your SOFT attitudes have set the stage - Republican Party – now is your moment – use it wisely.
Be EFFECTIVE save Terri’s life - dump the “husband” as guardian – let her parents provide her care and be her guardians.
At Least they love her.
This is the most severe case of wife abuse I know of that everybody knows about but does nothing Effective about.
Sins of Omission become Mortal Sins when Terri’s or someone else’s life is RELYING on life saving ACTION which is not taken and death results.
Just what is our country coming to!
Dear God in heaven help “W” and/or Jeb do what it takes to save Terri and our nation from this Roe v Wade event of Euthanasia.

I know that the tone of that is not very Catholic. But this never ending abuse of Terri is not very Catholic or Christian either!
America as the Founding Fathers envisioned it is being destroyed – bit by bit - Dear God help us all.
When America ceases to be good - it will cease to be great.
My thanks to “W” for his social security and terrorism/Iraq efforts Fades way into the background because of this issue.
This issue of Terri’s life and euthanasia in general will not be ignored like some of the others (eg: education/Kennedy, etc.).
Moral issues are major issues.
Santorum seems to be going off his rocker. Now he is talking about "rethinking" his previous opposition to capital punishment. He promised that Terri would not die "on my watch," and out of the Senate came an ineffective bill that he helped to cobble together. Casey, Jr., is an economic liberal but anti-abortion. That is the formula PA may be looking for. Rick's time may have come and gone, but were I a PA voter, I would still prefer Rick in the general election to Casey. At least for now. I think Santorum will have a tough time winning in 2006. He may go into panic mode by September 2006.
