Let's see:

1] Simple issue of a woman dying of thirst being offered water
2] Peaceful protest by conservatives where the risk of violence is minimal to non existent

compared to

1] Complexities of the reasons for war
2] Almost universal outbreak of riots at 'peace rallies'

Which issue is more readily understood by a child?
Which one places the child more at risk?

Ask a child to explain it to you since I am sure that you don't understand the difference.

Probably the Iraq War issue, since children can see war on the History Channel and other forms of media. Whereas a force-to-be-starved sad tragic case like Terri's is probably new to them. Both certainly involve the deaths of innocents.

Which event resulted in the child getting arrested and handcuffed? Apparently, you haven't been paying much attention to current events.
