They almost certainly are. There's no way in heck that they did this on their own intitiative because this is a belief they themselves hold. Far more likely, they're like the ubiquitious kids I see at anti-abortion rallies - there because Mommy is an activist. They may not even understand the issue.I will mention that, judging from the way these kids are dressed, it's pretty apparent they're not your run-of-the-mill teens. They may "understand" the issue as well as the average emotion-fueled onlooker.
Regardless, I would not allow my kids to do this. Kids do not belong in the middle of this. They belong on the sidelines, either listening to or watching their parents take their stand on the front lines.

These kids may provide the tipping point where adults learn from the children. Bringing water to a thirsty dying woman is not, or shouldn't be, a crime. I would love to see thousands bring her a cup of water. What could the police do?
They should provide an escort, but I doubt that they have the courage to do what's right.
