I am completely against the Federal Government getting involved in this matter. It is a state issue.

It IS constitutional to intervene.

But regardless, the libs and the Repubs (complicitly) allowed the Federal government to involve themselves in Elian's family, and they will continue to inject themselves wherever it advances the agenda of death and liberalism. If those with MORALS refuse to act, be it using the Feds or whoever, those without will STILL abuse their powers and we will be left powerless. Your argument holds about as much water as gun control lefties'arguments against guns.

I stand by my principle of being for states rights. Whether that involves Elian or Terri.

You may not like that stand and that is fine. But I don't change just because it suits my feelings on this issue.

I am against the Federal Gov. getting involved in issues that should be left up to a state.

However, I believe it is the Florida Legislature who should step in to save Terri. I can tell you that this would NOT be allowed to happen in Oklahoma. Hopefully the people of Florida will vote those out who do not act to save Terri.
