This problem extends beyond simple handshaking after a game. The competitiveness of many Americans these days stretches too far. To the point where they cannot compete or disagree without being enemies. Take the last election as an example. I literally saw Dems and Reps who were great friends and co-workers literally stop talking because of their politcal differences. Is this direction we want to be heading? I think not.

Ya wonder if the years of suppression of competition and PC crap that tries to create offensive free environments is leading to this. When people get the chance to let loose, they go all out. Eliminate the PC world, let people be themselves and these outbursts would become less frequent.

That is the whole point of competition among youths. The idea is to teach them how to compete with honor and respect for their opponents. It's not that Americans are TOO competitive, it's that they are not learning good sportsmanship. We shook the other team's hands when we won to show that we respected them and enjoyed the match, a dispay of sportsmanship. We shook hands with the winners when we lost to show respect and let the winners know we were not sore losers.
Competition is not bad. The way some people act while competing is.
I pretty much won't talk to a lib, and i won't talk to any of these death nazis either.
Yep.
