Let's be clear about her condition. She is not dead. If she were brain-dead, we would be talking about harvesting her organs. She is a living, breathing human being. Some people have called her a vegetable. Apart from the term being disgusting, how do they know? How can we be sure of the complete absence of any consciousness, any awareness, any anything ``inside'' this person?

Watching the responses to this situation, it is easy to see who is behind this culture of death. The far left is seething mad over this, they see this as something similar to Roe -vs - Wade, and all of their Jackals are out in force to see to it that Terri Schiavo is starved to death.

IMHO this is an important battle between the forces of Good and Evil. I pray that the 11th Circuit gets it right and sides for LIFE

There is no good outcome to this case. Except perhaps if Florida and the other states were to amend their laws and resolve conflicts among loved ones differently -- by granting authority not necessarily to the spouse but to whatever first-degree relative (even if in the minority) chooses life and is committed to support it. Call it Terri's law. It will help prevent us having to choose in the future between travesty and tragedy.

In light of what you say, we all need to remember this and fight for appropriate legislation to protect lives like Terri's. With the aging of the baby boomers, there will be more and more of this kind of thing.

Plus you have folks over here who are giving arguments that if accepted would justify slavery. To me that's far more chilling than the expected death-worship of the Left, which is nothing new.

Right there, ladies and gentlemen, IMHO, is the very reason she should live. We don't know! And there is no way we can!

You have to remember, judges are nothing more than people that once were lawyers.   Federal district judges are good soldiers that donated lots of money to a party to get nominated to the position.   Think about it, how can a president from Texas or Arkansas or from wherever, know about a lawyer half way across the country.   A no brainer...$$$$$$.   The trick is, getting as many judges that think of ruling on the construction (conservative) of Constitution, and not in rewriting it.   More important are the Appellate Court Judges. Because thousands of cases never reach the Supremes and are adjudicated at that level.

Judge Greer was presented with "clear and convincing" evidence and testimony from Michael, his brother, and Terri's best friend, Joan, that Terri would not want to live like that, and so ordered the feeding tube removed in January, 2000.

Whether one is for or against keeping Terri alive (I'm for it), it is truly amazing to watch the near unamimity of liberals who are for killing her. You would think of few of the nutty feminists who are always screeching about evil males trying to kill their spouses would be for trying to keep Terri alive. The stinking pile of liberal hypocrisy smells to high heaven.... again.
