True.

He changed me as well. I'm not sure I'd have been here 5 years ago arguing as I have for Terri. People can certainly change.

Glad you "changed"!!!
Last year, while making out my living will, I insisted to still receive food/water/antibiotics, (until death, no matter what condition, yet allowed my sons to "pull the plug" of machines such as respirator, etc.
I was SHOCKED when the lawyer ranted at me for "tying the survivors hands" in no allowing the food/water to occur!!!!!!!!!!! (I walked out).!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It SCARES ME TO DEATH the mindsets of docs and lawyers and judges, and the media forming social thinking, using the wording"vegetable or vegetative", to associate uselessness of a person's condition, or "NO QUALITY OF LIFE" as determined by society.
Really SCARY, AND IT IS COMING.
Anyone who does not believe this is accelerating in the US, should ask the poster marmema to send them her links of sites that document this.
Did you know the "Hemlock Society" has changed their name to sound more friendly and disassociate their reputation for death advocation?
It is something like End of Life choices.com, or similar, not sure. Now why would they change their name?
