Somebody needs to get to Gibbs and tell him to amend his f'ing complaint - NOW. If the idiot had just plead that Terri is not PVS and does not want to die from dehydration in this circumstance whether PVS or not, Whittmore would have been forced to grant the injunction, and would have been quickly reversed if he had not. Instead Gibbs just bitched about Greer and posed flacky constitutional theories, and Whittmore was forced to blow Gibbs out, because none of that was going to fly on its face. Now probably the 11th circuit is struggling to decidee whether to take the extraordinary step, given the extraordinary circumstances, of cleaning up Gibb's mess for him.
See my post above.
Well, I don't understand how Gibbs could make such an error of judgement, or does it matter? Has the court already decided what it will do on the basis of news reports and pressure from the FL judges? I don't see how Gibbs can be expected to cover ever base in such a scenario. I wonder how long he had to argue. I do not believe Terri's fight has been under consideration for twelve hours now.
Gibbs is working with DOJ attorneys.
P.S. I understand your frustration.
I missed Hannity because I get home from work after him. The problem with all of that, is that none of it is reversible error. There was lot's of testimony and it was all considered. Wolfson appears to have been a very effective expert. That is why Congress did the de novo thing. Gibbs somehow missed the thought that maybe that should have some impact on how he framed his complaint in federal court. I think that was because it was written some time ago, and well, he just didn't have time to well, type in another count. One would think he would have filed an amended complaint today, based on Whittmore pointing out his problems. One would think.
Exactly Torie. A terrible legal case was made It's making me crazy!!
