My MIL is like that, she is slowly coming around to my mothers POV. My husband has become more anti-doctor than I am since he met my mother (and I'm pretty bad; my attitude is PROVE IT!)
Not to insult any doctors here, but I've had similar experiences. Some are really good, but...well, let's just say I'm more cynical than I used to be.
