Prob $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Remember, the love of money is the root of all evil?
Easy question, possibly the health/dying industry, given Felos and Greer connections established with hospice and euthanasia movements.

Holy moly .. that's incredible. Kudos to your mom .. she's probably one of 3-5% of people in this country who have taken it to the level she has. I never thought of backups either -- I just mailed my kids and my siblings my wishes. I don't think that would stand today's standards.

Especially when slimy lawyers and politicans are involved.

And docs and healthcare providers, too .. it's all too easy with a DNR to ignore the possibilities and inconvenience of care for extending life or opting for improvement.

"Not propaganda. Even the Schindlers stated he did initially take her for treatment and allow therapy. It was after the malpractice trial that he then started giving his no rehabilitation orders. While the trial was going on he was trying his best to appear as a husband devoted to Terri's rehabilitation, testifying that he planned to be with Terri for the rest of his life. If he had done otherwise they wouldn't have had much reason to grant him money to pay for her therapy."

And he was seeing another woman within a year.

If Terri dies, an autopsy is absolutely critical!!! Not only for forensic examination of the broken bones, but to see if the tissue around the electrodes shows it was burned off.

Michael wants her cremated immediately upon her death and Judge Greervorkian has ok'd it.

I don't have the TV on. I can't bear it. It feels like it did the the night the Supreme Court stopped the counting in 2000 and we waited to hear what the court found.

And to think I had to pay $500 for living will and will, only to have the lawyer get MAD and NASTY with me when I said I wanted food/water!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unbeleivable.
I may ask every doc or lawyer I need from now on their beleifs about this, LOl.
Do you think I would get an honest answer?

"No offense to my Florida freeper friends but I already boycott."

Many of my Florida friends have already been doing it for a while. They inspired those info links. Some of them are even Freepers.

There is NO law that doesn't allow this to be done by PRIVATE industry and it goes on. No, they want TAX PAYERS to PAY for their ridiculous EMBRYONIX stem cell research.

Exactly. It is my understanding that some of the private sector has put $ into it, and guess what...it's a losing cause. It doesn't work. But the libs won't tell you that.

But as you state, they want to throw more money into this losing cause, because its the way they think..."if we spend more (i.e. get tax dollars to finance it), it will work..." NOT.

It's a losing investment all the way around. Financially, and to say the least with the sacrifice of the embryo.

I too, find the hypocrisy of the "Christopher Reeve cheer leading squad" quite pathetic.

"Um, hate to interrupt the festivities, but it's already gotten underway."

Good to hear. So much the better if they're underway already.

I'm in favor of anything that will save Terri's life, whether it's a boycott or sending in the marshalls or through legal means. I only opined that a boycott at this stage is fruitless and a little too late. But, if it helps, so be it.

You're not missing anything after 9 o'clock, just reruns.
They do a 30 min and 1 hour update, only about one sentence.
Any news will probably be here first!!!!!!!!!!
I am thinking of bagging it and going to bed, too, seems hard to beleive the court judges would stay up half the night.
Wanna bet they are home in bed?

I know what you mean, anytime they say "special report" on Fox I get all nervous....I want to think positive, but it's hard...we know what it should be, but I am not very confident in these judges these days!

I know. It's hard to comprehend some times. But you know, when I was 20 and totally ignorant I thought abortion was OK. I knew people who'd had them.

It's amazing how truth and facts can change your mind.
Same in Terri's case. Some are waking up.

I know, oreo --- part of God's plan in all this is for our eyes to be opened, I feel sure. What sweet Terri's struggle has provoked in us and for us to learn surely has to be part of His mysterious plans. So much is and will be revealed in these days.

It helped that we have a good lawyer. It is becoming obvious that this is an area in which not to 'cut corners'. The pro death crowd will do everything to see you gone.

I'll admit I thought it was a bit "over the top" at the time, but with the situation with Terri, I'm glad it's in place and I've mimiced her.
