Sheesh, even an injured dog on the side of the street wouldn't be given this painful treatment of starvation to death, denial of food and water, and blocking those who would bring even just water.

Now I don't recommend cruelty to animals, but somebody might think about bringing a parakeet or rabbit in a cage to that site, and stay there 24/7, and publicly deny it food, even if for a week or more, and wait how long until the local Florida Humane Department comes over and breaks it up and feeds the animal, causing a ruckus. Then, news reporters could film that and the American people could be shown the amazing contrast.

The animal outside gets food/water and police protection; the HUMAN BEING a few yards inside the "hospice", doesn't.

Several months ago a guy who beat up a puppy was sentenced to 18 months or so in prison. For beating up a stinkin puppy! People starve a human and nothing happens to them.

I agree that I wouldn't advocate doing that to an animal....

BUT

It would be interesting to see the media's (let alone PETA's) reaction if someone did that.

The fact that there is also an injunction against anyone even trying to give her food or water by mouth is amazing to me. Why can't someone try to see if she can swallow it? Are they worried that she might, heaven forbid, choke to death? No, much better to let her suffer for days on end.

This is beautiful and bears repeating.
