I'm not sure he did. But it seems Frist, DeLay et al may have. They "assumed" that the law they passed would be followed. The judge was supposed to order Terris' feeding tube replaced while he reviewed her case.....but oooops....Clinton judge ignored them just like Judge Greer and the Floriduh Supremes did.

It's been an eye opener for sure. Congressional subpoenas were laughed at. Felos, attorney of Michael, called them bogus. Congress and President Bush and Jeb Bush are all bark and no bite.

Time for the federal marshals to remove this poor woman from that Death "Hospice" to a place of safety. Eisenhower did it to desegregate schools, it's time for exercise of executive power again. "How many divisions have the courts" and Michael Schiavo - ultimately none. And I don't believe Jeb would send the state police to fight his brother's feds.

It's disgraceful. The question now becomes, what is Congress going to do to enforce the law passed at this point and the contempt of Judge Greer and the Federal judge? If they are not held to account, from this point on, Congress could be deemed as weak and powerless against the judiciary.

The confusing thing is what actually IS constitutional and what isn't. Both sides claim to be correct in this matter. I wish I had the answer.

ALL THE MORE REASON FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND/OR THE PRESIDENT TO STEP IN AND ENFORCE THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

NOW!!!

WHAT WE ARE WITNESSING TODAY IS THE OVERTHROW OF THE UNITED STATES BY A GROUP OF BLACK ROBED TYRANTS.

Where in the law did it say the judges were supposed to re-insert her feeding tube as an intermediate measure? It seems to me that this was a big miss on the part of Congress.

Yes, and no one seriously would think that Clinton or the late Lawton Chiles would sit back and let a member of their Democrat coalition be treated in such a torturous fashion. Say what one will about their liberalism, but Clinton and Chiles would long ago rescued their base member.

Frist, DeLay et al knew damned well that there was about a 99% chance that this law they passed would be ignored by the federal courts. They were unable to pass the first House bill in the Senate. The bill that Bush signed was the best the Republicans could get through both houses, mostly meaningless, but got rid of the "hot potato" for them and they expect us to give them credit for trying. When Greer defied the subpoenas, it was obvious that nobody was going to save Terri. She and her records should have been taken into custody when the subpoenas were served. Then Greer would have been arrested if he failed to comply and the records seized.
