Even the "conservative" Justice Antonin Scalia ridicules the Declaration of Independence, noting it has no legal status. And that's where there is reference to so-called "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." It's all mere words now. Jefferson has been overruled by Greer and Whittemore.

I hope the President and the Attorney General are standing by to give Terri emergency "injunctive relief". Are they not responsible for enforcing the laws of the United States?
