Neither of those rulings are because the judges want to "kill Terri." They are because the Schindlers' lawyer totally blew the opportunity he'd been given by the Congress to get a new trial. This is horrible to watch. Unless somebody gets in there and straightens that lawyer out, Terri is going to die because the lawyer screwed up horribly. |
I don't buy it. Given the pleading that the Schindlers' lawyer made, Whittemore virtually had to rule the way he did. For the same reason, the 11th Circuit is likely to uphold Whittemore.
