Also the statements she made in the presence of Scott Schiavo at the funeral luncheon for his grandmother that "if I ever go like that just let me go. Don't leave me there. I don't want to be kept alive on a machine."
If Terri said this, she meant as an old person, since the person she was comparing herself with was a grandmother. At the time, I doubt Terri could even imagine being, gasp, 30! I know that how I would wish to be treated would matter a lot on how old I was at the time. 88, let me go. 40, hell no!
I can't believe Greer gave any consideration to accepting this as evidence to her wishes as it relates to her current condition. "Machine" being the operative word, for may anyway. She is not living off of machines.
Did Terri tell you this? If so, you should tell the court right away.
What you have just done is called "speculation," and it is not permitted as evidence in a court of law.
The only people who claim that Terri expressed a wosh to die all have the same last name: SChiavo.
It was posted earlier on this thread that Mother Schiavo was also put to sleep by her caring 3 children.
