My husband always says that guys won the sexual revolution and I suspect he's right. I've talked to a lot of women who played the various college sexual games for all they were worth. Turns out later, they never had an orgasm until they'd been married for several years.

All smoke, no fire.

I tell my wife that this was a scam cooked up by some men in a smoky backroom of some all mens club back in the 60's. The feminists and liberals bought it, sink, line, and hooker.

They think they've won in their 20's. When they try to settle down, though, they find that many of those wild party girls have developed a taste for promiscuity. So she cuckolds them, takes the kids, takes the house, and gets child support. And they start complaining about American women and the divorce courts, and become angry old men.

In the long run, everyone loses. Women lose, men lose, happiness loses, marriages lose, kids raised in single-parent households because of divorce lose. And the cycle perpetuates to the next generation.

Most of these wild girls are going to go through 3-6 husbands in their lives, or just be lonely because they can't find someone interested in marrying them after they've been used and discarded by 20 or 30 or 40 other men. Either way they'll be bitter and angry. Some of them will discover the cervical cancer is almost always caused by a sexually-transmitted virus, and they'll end up without a uterus or dead.

If I might paraphrase NRO's redoubtable Florence King, summing up Bill Clinton's propensity for feeling our pain: "Empathizing with everybody is like sleeping with everybody: eventually it makes you frigid, at which point you decide it's a lot less trouble and just as much fun to empathize with yourself."

Everyone loses in the sexual revolution. Everyone except those who avoid that war.

What really cracks me up is the feminists who insist that marriage was invented by men to control women. I always say, "Oh? Is that why men are fighting so hard against the erosion of marriage and the advent of free love?" Marriage is one of the proofs of G-d's existence. Based on the physical strength of men and women's reliance on them before civilization, marriage would never have evolved on its own. Men would have controled women by saying, "You don't want to put out? Go sleep with the saber-toothed tigers."

Shalom.
