Uh, yeah. Did a little bit of that, well a lot of that too. Family is from the area. I go back to see them. No real interest in going to Carbondale any more. I can tell you this, I went back to look around in about 2002, and nothing had changed. Nothing. No new buildings, no new roads, barracks still in the middle of campus. I think they built some buildings since you were there, I was there in 77-81, but nothing since then.

Last time I was in Carbondale was maybe 95'. Was there for an hour or so. Something about my then wife's ex. he was livin there if thats what ya call it. She BA'd, MA'd and PH'D from that hole. I should never have married a Lib no matter how good she was in the sack. But she was on the Exec staff SOS, a repub, Had me fooled I guess. Doubt I'll ever pass that way again, Carbondale or marriage for that matter, but one should never say Never.

Maybe the old Marine Corps way was best: Marine Corps 4F's,
Find them, Feel them, ____ Them, Forget them. Not alot of Real happiness, But saves a great deal of hassle. Either way,, the guy is gonna PAY the $ in the end or along the way.
