Why would they do that? She is HIS WIFE and therefore, under law, is NOT under the parent's care. the LAW OF THE LAND determines that Michael is her NOK. Get over it.
Do you have no problem with the fact that he is living and has children with another woman? The parents have been and should be given legal guardianship. He didn't keep his wedding vows. He should no longer be considered her husband.
It still does not erase the fact that she is not on life support and that thousands of people in nursing homes all over the nation are on feeding toobs because there family could not stand to watch their loved one die of starvation. The judge ordering no ice chips changed my mind in this case. I consider it cruel to starve anyone to death and way over the top when insisting no one see to her comfort. We treat dogs better.
