Isaiah 54:6,7

The Lord wll call you back,
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit -
a wife who married young, only to be rejected, says your God.
For a brief moment I apandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.

(I was opening my Bible and opened to this particular verse. May it be a prophetic moment!)

O Lord,
bind the hands of those
who would pull your child down into the darkness.
hold her always safe in your arms,
and have mercy on all of us
fighting your fight.
