Have had to be gone some today, but have kept up pretty well. I am beside myself with this. I believe this judge is doing exactly the opposite of what the law intended, and that she is doing it on purpose hoping Terri dies. I am angry beyond words at the judge, but the Congressmen misread the situation badly. They promised us that no federal judge would allow Terri to die while they judged the case, but that is exactly what is happening. So I am angry at them, as well, that they were so naive. Now I think only President Bush can save Terri, and as much as it pains me to say it, I doubt he will. I hope I am wrong. Tutstar, this judge wants to drag it out; her statements already indicate she will rule against Terri. But instead of doing it so the Atlanta court can take an appeal, she wants Terri to be so far gone, any help would come too late. I am devastated by this turn. How do you see it?
The Judge is a he.
Its appears the Federal Judge on the case is a liberal.
I was wondering if the President can just issue an EXECUTIVE ORDER to restore the feeding tube?
We now know we are surrounded by liberal activist judges, that want to make law, and the day of reckoning is coming for the Democratic Party and the Liberal Judges.
This Day will not be forgotten.
I don't know. There have been times in my life when it seemed like the deck was stacked and nothing good would come. At the right moment God brought blessings and changes.
I have no guess one way or the other.
Just keep praying!
Lord we know the children of Israel pleaded for judge to judge them, they'd go to their sin, repent and then turn away again. Lord let our nation return to you, let the revival begin in each of our hearts.
God let there be one righteous man who will not let Terri be killed. Lord we're begging and praying for her life. We're weary of unrighteous judges who don't even follow man's law. Lord help us!! Forgive our country for its sins. Deliver Terri and deliver us!
Thank you Jesus.
Let the walls of Jericho come down as they did for Joshua.

No decision from the Judge. The Judge did not give any indication when he would issue a ruling. The court hearing lasted approximately two hours.
David Gibbs: Clearly stated his arguments surrounding the law and the basis of the Congress and the statement of the President of the United States.
David argued how the US Congress, the President of the United States and the Vatican supported Terri's rights. Mr. Gibbs eloquently spelled out that this hearing today was not to discuss the entire case, but to have an emergency decision to
reinsert Terri's feeding tube. Gibbs stated, "Patrick Henry said give me liberty or give me death. Gibbs argued that if she is dead, she has no liberty."
George Felos: Droned on for an hour essentially attempted to make every argument he has been making for the last several years. He then rudely stood on the street corner and spoke to reporters stating they would have to "slice Terri's stomach open" in order to put the tube back in. Felos tried to convey to the
reporters how the "majority" of America agreed with him and that what Terri's supporters were attempting to sell was propaganda. Felos stated that the President and the Congress have overstepped their boundaries.
Felos again tried to play Doctor and discuss a procedure he knows nothing about. He also does not address how if he wasn't Hitler, her tube would still be in. He never had to have the tube removed, it could have been capped off.
George Felos in my opinion is an evil man who walks the same path of the men who callously marched people into the gas chambers.
Judge Whittemore seemed to listen carefully to the issues surrounding Terri's religious rights being violated and her legal due process not being followed.
Mary Schindler told me this afternoon, that this morning at 6:00 AM, Terri did laugh with her father. Mary is very frightened for her daughter right now. It has been 72 hours since Terri has had fluids and nutrition. The Schindlers are a loving family and wish only to take their daughter home to provide her with the same love they gave to her from the day she was born.
President Bush issued a statement earlier saying that this is a complex case and a serious issue, however it is wise to always look on the side of life.
We pray that Judge Whittemore will come to a decision soon and will realize that Terri's life is pending his decision.
I see it exactly as you do, txrangerette. The President can save her, but it's his brother's job, and if Jeb had any intention of intervening directly, he'd have done so before now. Just as this judge would have done something last night, or not at all.
the Judge is a man and the Judge said he was going to study the case before making a ruling...most Judges do this. The law only gave Terri the right to have her case looked at again on a "fresh basis" so the Judge needs to look at what was put before him and he has to weigh the arguments made by Gibbs and Felos. There was nothing in that law ordering that her feeding tub was to be inserted why the case was being decided...the lawmakers "hoped" that the Judge would order it reinserted.
