You know, it's embarassing to see Freepers calling somebody a murderer with absolutely no proof.

Maybe the folks who call him a murderer are a little strong, but what do you call a "husband" who lives with another woman and fathers two children with her -- AND spends $440,000 of therapy money on right-to-die lawyers. These folks aren't far off.

If Mike walks away and lets the parents take over, Terry lives. His arrogant refusal to just walk away means Terry dies. What part of that do you not understand?

It is embarassing to see Freepers who refuse to confront uncomfortable facts because they do not conform to their own personal whimsy.

Michael Schiavo withheld medical records from the parents of Terri for 10 years. Terri has some broken bones that are very hard to explain.

Terri is able to talk -- though one source says it is only a way of saying "yes" or "no".

I have to go by the Bible on this one -- "only a good tree produces good fruit, a bad tree produces bad fruit".

Michael was entrusted with $2 million for the care of Terri [results of several lawsuits]. Very little has been spent on Terri after he won the $1 million lawsuit.

Michael has spent large sums of money with the "right to die" lawyer. Why? Seems like you might want to err on the side of life.

Finally, if Terri gets better and is able to communicate, what might she say. Is there something Michael is afraid Terri will say?

The judge in this case is breaking the law by being the presiding judge and guardian of Terri -- it is against Florida law.

So there are a lot of irregularities.

Why does Michael want to cremate the body immediately on death>?

Will an autopsy disclose something?

It's more embarrassing to see Freepers calling for an innocent woman's death! It's more embarrassing to see Freepers sticking up for a documented adulterer! It's more embarrassing to see Freepers wanting to do something to an innocent woman most of them wouldn't do to a dog.

Yes, just like calling someone a hero with no proof.

He's not technically a murderer, he has hired the hospice house to do his dirty deed. Conspirator perhaps.

The vitriol aimed at this guy and his supporters is embarassing. I don't know if he's lying or telling the truth, but the holier-than-thou jackasses have really come out of the woodwork on this. Wasn't there something in the New Testament about requirements for casting the first stone?

Well, a possible attempted murderer perhaps.

Even Judge Greer said the bone scans were "interesting." Not that he could see them very well.

The background of some of the folks in this case, the conflicts of interest in the hospice, county government, et al, are astonishing.

From quite a bit of reading, it looks to me like some backwater folks got together to make themselves a little money, using this case as a cash cow.

Living in an area much like Pinellas County, I know the kind of thing that happens when that happens.

Except, the concern over Terri expressed by her parents and others unexpectedly sent the whole blamed thing national.

Covering up chicanery -- not necessarily murder -- is the only thing that makes some of the unusual rulings in this case make sense.

It's all about following the money back to Pinellas County.

The only explanation that fits all the facts available is that he is engaged in attempted murder to avoid an attempted manslaughter rap. None of the excuse-making can explain the actuality of the medical record, the 7-year delay in the testimony of the "living will", the inconsistency of his insurance trial testimony with his contemporary statements, and the refusal to allow reasonable attempts at rehabilitation, among other facts that are very inconvenient for him.

What is your proof he is telling the truth?

You willingly ignore his behavior (dating so soon after, not even 2 years after....taking 7 years to remember Terri actually wanted to die instead of have more care) to support your death wish for Terri.

I frankly think his behavior is a more powerful testimony than his words.

Don't you agree that actions speak louder than words?

I have never in all the years here a FR seen such an emotionally charged issue where I think givin the chance many here would gladly kill Michael. That is a sad and scary commentary.

......

We should sit by and allow a woman to be killed, her constitutional rights taken from her? Why would an innocent man treat her parents as he has, not provide dental care, not take her outside for 3 years?

Why would an innocent man refuse to consider the wishes of the parents? Why does he put them through this torture?

Guess I would rather err on the side of causing embarrassment than err on the side of sitting by and allowing euthansisia to be practiced on innocent people.

Why are we supposed to ignore the facts we see in Michael's actions? Is he allowing Terri due process of law? Or is there a strong suspicion that the euthansia forces AND Michael have an "arrangement".
