LOL! I was practically ostracized from the family when I registered Republican at 18 (REAGAN YEARS). The whole family was mortified.

I think that Ronald Reagan embodied the OLD Democratic party. (FLAME GUARD ON!) It's amazing how the parties have switched positions over the years. I blame it on the socialists hijacking of the Democrat party.

(I too refuse to refer to them as the "Democratic" party any longer! Democrats = Socialists!)

No flame from me. My relatives were obviously loyal to the Democrat party for a reaon, and I don't think it was only because of MSM propaganda.

Good people in the Republican party were once Democrats. What we see now are the remnants of why they fled.

I am so thankful that the Republicans are in conrol. Democrats only stand for taking God out of every public forum, death (abortion, euthanasia) sexual perversity, taking our rights (1st, 2nd amendments and private property rights) and deconsruction of education. That about covers it. Evil is using them IMHO.

You know why they switched to "democratic" don't you ..?? Remember the ad that supposedly had a subliminal RAT flashing during the commercial ..?? Well .. right after that the dems started calling themselves the Democrat-ic Party. However, if that's their true name - then why don't people refer to them as the DEMOCRAT-ICS - instead of DEMOCRATS ..??

I never refer to them as anything but democrats!!
