I guess that depends on whether you think sentencing a brain dead woman to more years of force feeding and diapering is 'punishment' enough. It sure is to me.
After all, Paul told us that we (as Christians) should not grieve over the loss of physical life "like the rest who have no hope." (1 Thess 4:13b) I have a durable power of attorney to try to prevent politicians from doing to me what they are doing to poor Terri.
Obviously you are in favor of euthanasia.
Next some judge will rule that people aren't allowed to be cared for by their loving families (as Terri's parents want to care for her), but anyone who is found to not have a life worth living, as determined by some judges, should be starved to death.
I guess, soon that will include anyone with any mental or physical disabilities of any age, and Republicans (Howard Dean called Republicans "brain dead", so I guess we all deserve to be euthanized, right?)
