Mother pleads for Terri Schiavo's life

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - Hanging their hopes on a last-minute compromise in Congress, Terri Schiavo's parents notified her hospice to prepare to have her feeding tube reinserted on Sunday, her third day without food or water.
Congressional leaders from both parties hoped an agreement reached on a bill would allow the tube to be restored while federal courts review her case. The House and Senate were expected to take up the legislation by Sunday or early Monday. If passed, President Bush planned to sign it.

But Mary Schindler pleaded for parents nationwide to call their congressional representatives and pressure them to vote for a bill to prolong her daughter's life.
"There are some congressmen that are trying to stop this bill," she said outside her daughter's hospice. "Please don't use my daughter's suffering for your own personal agenda."

Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Fla., issued a statement late Saturday saying he will make an objection that would stop the vote Sunday. Any member can demand that a majority of members be present to do business. Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., said he was trying to gather enough votes to defeat the bill Monday

That would cause Terri 23 more hours of suffering. Mr. Wexler, you are lower than a snake's belly and twice as ugly.
Imagine the emotional toll on the Mother for the last 15 years.
The CSpan schedule says the House session will begin at 1pm, but then the steriods in baseball thing comes on at 1:10.
They will be covering the House session for 10 minutes?
I guess we will find out shortly.
Amazing is it not how this one "Omnipotent Overlord" makes a court order like this and he is not tarred and feathered?

If tomorrow the omnipotent Judge Greer issues a "court order" stating that the sun must now rise in the west how many of you will be watching the western horizon in the morning?
It sounds like you're being too complimentary of Rep. Wexler. I think I'd call him a vicious, cruel, heartless killer of the innocent.

If this was a pay raise for elected congressmen, they would stay up all night if need be.
This guy was the SLUG who was behind the systematic calling of "confused" Dem Fla. voters in 2000...... the sleazy deal that was pre-planned in order to get all that election challenging started.

I think all the mind-number people who rely and believe everything the MSM has to say will be the ones watching the western horizon in the morning.
This case is turning into a national disgrace. The arrogance of so many people in the judiciary and congress is just apalling in this case. If Terri dies because of their arrogance and abuse of power, it's going to be a very sad day for America. I used to believe that injustice like this couldn't happen in our country. Well not any more. All conservatives have to work together to reform the judiciary and find a legislative solution to control the arrogant abuse of power by thugs in black robes.
Theresa mother Mary reminds me of a major event that happened on Earth almost 2000 years ago. When Jesus was sentence to slow-HORRORABLE-Death , Imagine the emotional toll The HOLY MOTHER MARY
suffered as her son was sentenced to death, and feeling it,seeing it. Jesus Christ committed no crimes, just like Theresa committed no crimes, and Mel Gibson movie "The Passion of the Christ" reminds us all of that event.
Today on Palm Sunday we see the same thing...
