"Terri had CAT scans. I don't know about an MRI. However, she had a court appointed guardian who made sure she got the tests he thought were appropriate."
Well according to Senator Frist the other day he said there were no CAT scans or MRIs.
The court appointed guardian is a lawyer and he refuses to say whether or not he believes the tubes should be removed.
My understanding is that it took 7 years after the incident for Michael to make his case that Terri had said she did not want to live like this. This hardly constitutes a living will. There is a reason this gal has hung on all these years if she was so determined to not live like this.
I have no objections to living wills, rather this case makes it clear the need of them. I do not believe the man who took 7 years to finally remember Terri said something.
Precedence is the rule of law and this case sets a precedence.

If Senator Frist, who is a good, good man, thinks that Terri didn't have a CAT scan, he is woefully misinformed.
