Just posted what I read at NR, and I trust them. They're not going to lie about this. I'm conflicted about this too, somewhat because while it may seem an isolated incident, it has the power to set a mighty precedent which can and will be used against those who have no advocate for their life. It's a very dangerous road to go down, IMO.
I agree about the precedent; it's a chilling case on many, many levels.
This case could turn this country on its head. Now that Congress is involved, this will open up the possibility of convicted felons on death row asking to plead their case to Congress because the courts simply refused to listen to their plea.

I read it too and sadly they got it wrong. Poor research I suppose but a usually reliable media.
