An attorney for Terri Schiavo said the severely brain-damaged woman cried and yelled out that she wants to live after being told today her life-sustaining feeding tube was about to be removed by court order.
Barbara Weller was in Terri Schiavo's room at the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, Fla., when the encounter took place, according to activist Randall Terry, who spoke with WorldNetDaily from outside the building as demonstrators continued a vigil.
If true, the report apparently refutes the court's finding that Terri Schiavo is in a "persistant vegetative state" and cannot currently express her wishes. Her husband, Michael Schiavo, contends she had indicated she would not want to live in such a condition, but parents Robert and Mary Schindler dispute that and suspect he is responsible for the 1990 incident in which oxygen to her brain was temporarily cut off, causing severe brain damage.
Weller essentially told Terri Schiavo, "You had better say you want to live or they will kill you. Just say you want to live."
Schiavo responded with a drawn out, "IIIIII," then screamed out "waaaaaaaa" so loudly that a police officer stationed outside the room came in.
The officer then ordered Weller removed from the room, according to Terry.
The event was witnessed by Terri Schiavo's sister Suzanne Vitadamo and Suzanne's husband Michael.
"I talked to Suzy and Michael, and they both said it was unbelievable," Terry said. "It was very articulate, for Terri, but they also say this is normal [for her to communicate]."
Terry explained the family says Schiavo often is talkative, though similar to a 10-month-old.
"The words usually are not discernable, but she's responsive to commands, uses slow diction and her voice lilts to show emotion and context," he said.
Weller teared up after hearing Schiavo respond today, Terry said, and indicated Schiavo was crying.
Terry has established a website, helpterri.com with information about how to get involved, including phone numbers of lawmakers and details of a rally and lobby-training sessions to be held next week in the Florida capital, Tallahassee, beginning Monday.
"We need people there Monday night, people who have never lobbied before, to come, and we're going to be begging the [Florida] Senate to get its act together," Terry said.
Are you posting from the grassy knoll? I don't care if there is or is not a conspiracy -I am able to declare unabashedly that I think she is being murdered by the removal of her a feeding tube. I do not consider her condition to be vegetative nor do I consider feeding of one unable to feed themselves to be an extraordinary measure.

Well if she is being murdered than apperently it is legal because it is happening.
It also appears that your belief that she is not a vegetable is a minority opinion at least a minority opinion to those whose opinions have any bearing on this case.

If not a conspiracy then you tell me what it is because it sure is happening as of 02.00 today her feeding tube has been removed and it appears that this is totally legal.

That was totally rude and against FR rules. We do not engage in vicious personal attacks. She is entitled to voice her opinions, right or wrong. You owe her an immediate apology.
I guess you missed my opinion. That would be that I agree that she is brain dead and that what her husband has requested that being that her feeding tube be removed is based on her wish that whe expressed to him that she would not want to live under these conditions.
It is the only thing that makes any sense to me.
And it appears to be legal to have this done because it is happening and no one has been jailed for doing so.
I have stated before on many occassion that I would rather see her husband divorce her and let her parents have gardianship of her and that she move home with them and live her life out to its natural end.
The only thing I would add to that is that I would feel better if I knew for a fact that is what she wanted.
I already gave my explanation. You just don't want to re-evaluate your calculus for your denial. America has a growing culture of 'death to the hidderances, to the unwanted'. The methods being employed to further this cult are varied, the factions depending on its furtherance diverse. Are you 'pro-choice' even regarding partial birth killing? ... Those alive, sensing unborn children are no less possessing of an unalienable right to not be killed for utilitarian reasons. Terri is but a very pominent example of the death cultists seeking to impose their value system upon America, as they have succeeded in doing with abortion on deamnd.

Terri is not brain dead, she's not even diminished to the point of persistent vegetative state. She is, however, severely disabled and in need of extensive therapy to improve her quality of life. But then she might become capable of telling the world what happened to her and what her husband and the courts have done to her since in painful detail. Couldn't have that, don'tcha know. It endangers the 'death to the burdensome ones' 'enlightened' belief system.

No, I am not pro-choice and certainly not for partial birth abortions.
I pity anyone in a situation where the mothers life is at stake if a pregnancy is carried to term. That would be a real tough call and pray that I would never be in that predicament.
So, the law is God? If it's legal, it's right? Is that your position.

I didn't see LKL, but I heard him tell this amazing story on Sean Hanitty's show earlier today. I don't understand why people want Terri to die.
God's taking names on FR of people who pretend to be christian and espouse fake Christian charity. They can't get anything past him.
It's a primal fear of being severely disabled. Thus the effort to sweep the severely disabled out of view.
Again this goes back to my saying this has to be a conspiracy because there are many many more people involved in this case and ultimately the discision besides one doctor.
Having said that you do make an excellent argument with comparing this case with that of abortion.
I will serious reconsider my position with that in mind.
