An attorney for Terri Schiavo said the severely brain-damaged woman cried and yelled out that she wants to live after being told today her life-sustaining feeding tube was about to be removed by court order.
Barbara Weller was in Terri Schiavo's room at the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, Fla., when the encounter took place, according to activist Randall Terry, who spoke with WorldNetDaily from outside the building as demonstrators continued a vigil.
If true, the report apparently refutes the court's finding that Terri Schiavo is in a "persistant vegetative state" and cannot currently express her wishes. Her husband, Michael Schiavo, contends she had indicated she would not want to live in such a condition, but parents Robert and Mary Schindler dispute that and suspect he is responsible for the 1990 incident in which oxygen to her brain was temporarily cut off, causing severe brain damage.
Weller essentially told Terri Schiavo, "You had better say you want to live or they will kill you. Just say you want to live."
Schiavo responded with a drawn out, "IIIIII," then screamed out "waaaaaaaa" so loudly that a police officer stationed outside the room came in.
The officer then ordered Weller removed from the room, according to Terry.
The event was witnessed by Terri Schiavo's sister Suzanne Vitadamo and Suzanne's husband Michael.
"I talked to Suzy and Michael, and they both said it was unbelievable," Terry said. "It was very articulate, for Terri, but they also say this is normal [for her to communicate]."
Terry explained the family says Schiavo often is talkative, though similar to a 10-month-old.
"The words usually are not discernable, but she's responsive to commands, uses slow diction and her voice lilts to show emotion and context," he said.
Weller teared up after hearing Schiavo respond today, Terry said, and indicated Schiavo was crying.
Terry has established a website, helpterri.com with information about how to get involved, including phone numbers of lawmakers and details of a rally and lobby-training sessions to be held next week in the Florida capital, Tallahassee, beginning Monday.
"We need people there Monday night, people who have never lobbied before, to come, and we're going to be begging the [Florida] Senate to get its act together," Terry said.
"Like I said there is absolutely no reason logic or motives for anyone to want to kill Terri." You appear to have designed a conclusion you now want to persuade us is correct. You are ignoring the euthanasia movement Felos pushes actively, the freindship between Felos and Greer, the business relations between 'hospice' and Greer and Felos, the desire to sweep under the judicial rug anything that would reflect negatively upon the Floriduh judicial system, the ... well, you perhaps get the gist. But I'm sure you already knew these things and have chosen to omit them from your calculus.
Like I said though this has got to be the biggest conspiracy ever for him to be able to get all these people to go along with him to finally accomplish his failed murder attempt.
I'm sorry but I just can't buy into this.
We are certainly right that this is crazy.
GAK... the evil in Felos does not come to your notice... and you're a Christian so concerned about not crossing God that you won't play a piano in church?
Something about beams and motes comes to mind.
Girl, you said a mouth full of truth there. Far too many doctors are over educated fools who can't even come close to relating emotionally to normal people.
I once worked for an orthodontist who was similar to the "horse whisperer" only with retarded children. He truly worked miracles with them and could calm their fears instantly. However, most of his "normal" patients were terrified of him, including my own children. He was viscous to those patients and also to his employees.
The "great" doctor's intellect was far superior to mere mortals. He was also going to law school and writing an Italian cookbook while I worked for him. Brilliant he was. Nice, moral and decent were simply NOT traits that he possessed.
Either you've gone nuts or this is deep dark sarcasm.
But I wish I were wrong...:-\
One huge consiry that just happens to fit into everyones motive.
Her husband wanted her dead and tried to kill her. He was unsuccessful and won a verdict for malpractice that awarded him 1 or 2 million for her care but there is no requirement that he actually spend it for that. Felos and Greer just happen to get some money for taking care of her with their hopice business but they are paid from some other source besides the settlement money. Felos gets his legal fees paid for from the settlement money which will leave Michael with no money at some point and it still hasn't been established that Michael even gets any onf this money regardless. Then there is the euthanasia movement who just loves going around and seeing people get killed. And in some way this all appears to be totally legal because no one has come under endictment for any crimes.
Have I missed anything?
Like I keep saying one giant conspiracy and to what end? Crazy!
Has no one in there got a cam phone?
What is his motive and if he has done something illegal why is he not in jail?
Why isn't Satan in jail? (yet)
I find this account to be less than credible. It just sounds made up.
lots of info here - don't strain the brain with facts

I think you have a childlike faith that true justice, as God has stated it, will always flow down through the mechanisms of government. While touching, it's naive. Someone should have told that to the victims of the Holocaust.
Terri was speaking and emoting at various "random" times. Surprising but not implausible.
This is a perfect example of there being no reason or logic in this argument.
I'm not trying to start any kind of flame war I just can't understand how all this can be happening if there is not some legal, reasonable, rational, logical basis for it.
