If Terri dies this time, we get a legal precedent
Precedent-- exactly my worry. People who expect the President to step outside of his constitutional powers to act are urging the creation of a precedent-- a precedent dangerous to our entire nation and many more people than just one or a few.
In this case, someone below the level of President can act or the President can act within his powers.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But we're talking about someone's life here, and given the facts of the case, I'm much more worried about the precedent of being told by a judge that I or my wife are taking up too much space. That scares me, and it should scare you, too.
