Exactly! When the phone-person at my congressman's office started babbling about how concerned the congressman was about the situation, and how much he cared, and so forth, I said I had heard more than enough rhetoric. What matters is results, and the Republicans are coming up way short on those.
GW was in Florida hawking Sos Sec Reform while Terry's life was up for grabs...great PR there...and just a tad off the priority scale...
The sad thing is the Elected Republicans don't know how this has hurt them...they live in a bubble.
Now nothing. Congress did what it could, and the Schindler's atty lost.
