It is devastating. Every time something like this happens, we always hear the same old rhetoric but after time, the rage dies down. Not for me, It just festers, and I feel helpless. All I can do is, take extra precautions with my own children because our justice system has proved time and time again that they cannot deal with these people and they unable to do anything about it.

If this was just a one time event, I would say release of sexual predators might work, but time and time again, we have seen that these perverts only go on to do their crimes again and often with deadly results. There is no rehabilitaion of sexual predators.

I agree. I always knew where my children were and sometimes I probably was over protective, but we live in a sick world, and I never forget these stories. They are heartbreaking to me that people could actually do these things.
