Good morning.

I, too, have changed my position on this because of the extreme measures the husband, lawyer and judge are taking to ensure the poor woman's silence.

Does the husband stand to lose money if she should recover enough to speak? Does he fear that she will say what, or who, put her in this state.

What about the judge and lawyer? Where do they stand on euthanasia in general that would direct their actions in this case in particular?

An honest examination of Terri would likely reveal that not only is she not PVS, but that there is no plausible way Michael could have believed her to be so. Michael's actions certainly make abundantly clear that he knows his wife is not PVS. Trying to get someone falsely declared PVS so they can be starved to death would almost certainly be attempted murder so foul as to mandate maximum sentencing.

I finally saw a small tape of Terri that must have been taken early in her disability. She was very alert, smiling, cognizant and Michael Schiavo was by her side.

It is very evident that something terrible happened to her following that period. Over the last 10 years it would seem that Terri was subjected to neglect and withholding of therapy, treatment and minimum care.

Michael Schiavo began by suing to get funds for 26 year-old Terri's future care (life expectancy probably 40+ years). Once that was accomplished, her condition deteriorated due to lack of therapies. She was placed in a hospice where the life expectancy is 6 months. She would not have received treatment that is usually afforded for cure and recovery.

After 7 years, the Michael Schiavo supporters came up with the absurd story of remembering Terri told them she would not like to live with a feeding tube. Yeah right!

That Michael Schiavo had acquired another "wife" and 2 children in the interim has nothing to do with his desire to starve Terri to death. Yeah right!
