Quote: No she will painfull suffer for days or weeks.

The doctors said they was going to give her massive amounts of morphine and sedatives and other drugs to knock her out)if she is even aware).

Oh, they're so humane.

IF??? The point is they claim she is not, why drug her if she is in a vegitative state. The point of the entire case is answered in the fact they they would medicate a woman who cannot feel

Why not just a lethal injection?

If she can feel pain, then she's not in a PVS like the "experts" claim. Besides, how would the doctors find out if she's suffering? Greer's probably going to ban any tests to see.

This seems to raise a fatal flaw in the case. If the individual is indeed PVS, why should such medication even be considered? The fact that it is being considered seems to cast doubt on the PVS claim.

I don't know, am I missing something here, or does logic no longer apply in this case?

Why would they bother to give her morphine if she is a total vegetable with no knowledge or awareness? That seems to indicate they aren't sure.

Where did you read that? I thought Michael said on Nightline "no morphine".

Of course they will. Terri will not die in pain. Truth be known, she'll die much like many do every day in this country, people who have no chance at recovery, and have and will never have a feeding tube inserted in the first place. Many here would have us believe that wasting away till death has never happened before. It has. I've seen it. I've understood it.

All of the sensitive souls on this forum who have dedicated so much heart to this should not torture themselves that she will be in any pain.

That said, I don't doubt this isn't the last twist in this debacle.

Why would they do that unless they were unsure she could not feel and respond to pain? If unsure, isn't that an admission they have a reasonable doubt that she is not all that mentally/physiologically incapacitated and removed from awareness of her present surroundings?

Aren't even killers set free and allowed to live if there is REASONABLE DOUBT???

So what is Terri guilty of that she deserves the death penalty where no crime is comitted?

It appears the execution has begun. President Bush, it is time to exercise the 'PARDON' option.
