A spokesperson for Michael Schiavo says Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed Friday with Michael in attendance.
He says a prayer service was held first, and that Michael was emotional and crying, saying he wanted to put the situation behind him.
Terri Schiavo's parents, the Schindlers, visited with Terri Friday morning, prior to the tube's removal.
Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court Judge George Greer denied two U.S. House of Representative emergency motions Friday, which allowed the tube's removal.
The first motion was to intervene in the case for the House Committee on Government Reform and the second motion was to push the date back nine days so it could conduct what it calls a field investigation concerning the healthcare of Schiavo.
A neurologist appeared at Terri Schiavo's Pinellas Park hospice center Friday with a TV screen to show video of patients he treated that were in worse condition than Schiavo and got better.
Actually, I did hear on the radio earlier today that he plans to have her cremated.
yes, I heard that a few days ago...immediately after her death
I am appauled that something like this could happen.
These courts and judges have no right to intervene on this, since congress had done so.
The judges have to be put in their places, like the constitution is written. Someone , some Republican has to start the process of impeachment.
Like Job, although I would never presume to myself in his league, the Lord has blessed the second part of my life more than the first.
I never stop appreciating the time I have here and my real purpose, which is not to "be happy" (although that often is a happy byproduct of living the best way I know how).
Michael wants as little evidence as possible. He couldn't even give her parents the comfort of a proper burial and he has forbid last rites to Terri. Such a loving husband!
The pain in my hand from arthritis today does not make me want to quit living.
cBS news reported there were only a few dozen protestors much fewer than Schiavo's parents expected
I believe it's now up to the Florida Legistlature to get rid of Greer based on this link below. I don't what the US Congress can do to him.

Headlines read "doctors remove feeding tube." I thought doctors were supposed to support life, not terminate it. I call these people butchers. Hitler and his minions would be proud.
With a cremation......no autopsy.
Lovely! I appreciate your wisdom and experience and will take note!
More bad news for Terri. Ball game is on in place of Michael Savage here in Portland, Maine. Hope I can find a place on line to hear him
Thanks!
"I am appauled"
Well, I am appalled.
I'm sure Michael has a reason for the no autopsy rule. Once while they were watching tv, she mentioned she didn't want one...or did she say that she didn't want to watch a tv show about an autopsy. No, she actually said she wouldn't want to be kept alive if in a vegatative state...or did she say, what type of vegetable do you want with dinner tonight?
>"I can tell you one thing, that lawyer is not representing Terr's best interests. He's Michael's scummy lawyer!"<
agreed. This lawyer is very evil, I heard his comments this afternoon how this was Terry's choice, and how Congress was trying to interfere with "her choice". I believe he also said "her rights"...
That bastard can burn in hell too...wonder what his cut was...?
I know. I could never understand the rush to unhook her feeding tube? What is he afraid of? I tell ya, if I were his girlfriend...I would be so ashamed of him that I'm not sure I would want this piece of scum to be my husband. I wonder what he will tell his kids one day? I would NOT want to be in the shoes of Michael Schiavo nor Greer when they meet their maker...I mean the BIG MAN ... they will realize then the wrong they have committed and what a horrid sin it was with a capital S... Better them than us. they'll both find out then they might have had the power on earth but oh brother...judgement day and eternity will be a totally different picture and if they suffer the ultimate in punishment...it won't bother me one bit.
