FAMILY SPOKESPERSON: SCHIAVO FEEDING TUBE REMOVED!
Bay News 9 ^ | 3/18/05

Posted on 03/18/2005 12:18:38 PM PST by areafiftyone

A spokesperson for Michael Schiavo says Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed Friday with Michael in attendance.

He says a prayer service was held first, and that Michael was emotional and crying, saying he wanted to put the situation behind him.

Terri Schiavo's parents, the Schindlers, visited with Terri Friday morning, prior to the tube's removal.

Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court Judge George Greer denied two U.S. House of Representative emergency motions Friday, which allowed the tube's removal.

The first motion was to intervene in the case for the House Committee on Government Reform and the second motion was to push the date back nine days so it could conduct what it calls a field investigation concerning the healthcare of Schiavo.

A neurologist appeared at Terri Schiavo's Pinellas Park hospice center Friday with a TV screen to show video of patients he treated that were in worse condition than Schiavo and got better.

>Probably by day 8 or nine

Day NINE. Easter. Aren't we all grateful to Judge Greer, right about now? To Felos? To Michael?

Oh, dear friend, you couldn't be more right. I won't go into how my appearance changed when I went through my period of severe disability, but, oh, boy, was that really the thing that got people going.

"You used to be so beautiful. It must be so hard."

Well, no. What's hard is not being able to move and being in pain. Somehow I'm not concerned about doing my hair and makeup.

FIFTEEN MINUTES to SAVAGE NATION. Yesterday Michael Savage was fuming over this story and...well...tonight it's hard to tell what he'll do. Last night he advocated that everyone should rush into her room and say "OVER MY DEAD BODY!"

Also on this "looks icky" issue---because people now mostly warehouse the disabled and elderly, many people have no personal experience of being around a loved one who comes to look "icky." So it is quite shocking the first time they see someone in a nursing home.

Previously, we all knew what it was like when a person lost their looks and got bad skin and bad teeth and drooled and it was soooo embarrassing. It was difficult, but part of life.

Now we sanitize our experience because life has to be perfect or it's not worth living. For goodness sake, 16 year old girls feel they have to have boob jobs or life's not worth living. Imagine if they had an illness and their skin got yucky. How could they cope if they don't, through the experience, get a clue?

Here’s an article about Judge Greer. The article looks more like a liberal press butt-kissing to an activist judge that has strayed from God.

http://www.petitiononline.com/ijg520/petition.html

Here’s a link to impeach Judge Greer with a bunch of legal stuff and a timeline of reasons to get rid of this clown.

Here’s a link about someone who tried to run against Greer in 2004.

There are certain physiological liberties that I, personally, would want too.

This is not about you or what you would want. I guess I could mke up a screen name like GreatBelieverinChrist and then people would think I was a Christian and somehow spoke for Christianity. You are like the wolf in sheeps clothing, "many will come in my name, saying I am the Christ, but, do not believe them."

I'm sure Scott Peterson wanted to 'put it all behind HIM', too!, after he cleaned up the murder evidence and dyed his hair.

Yes, and further, isn't this the logic employed in that enlighted time when those accused of witchcraft were thrown into ponds with heavy weights, or whatever, on the principle that if they are not witches, and therefore have not displeased God, then he will save them from us?

Been there. Done that.

Pain has a way of making me forget all about the silly little vanities.

Give it time...a few decades and democratic victories from today and "Christian Right winger nuts" will be the 'witches' of the day.

How will Michael celebrate? A quick creamation, breakfast, and a trip to an exotic island with his slut is my guess.

The desire to live and the desire not to leave loved ones sooner than God demands.

One of the strongest things that kicks in is the pain you know your death will cause those who love you.

Actually, I did hear on the radio earlier today that he plans to have her cremated.
