If we exhaust all legal action within the system and a raid or whatever happens to save her life, we must be prepared to deal with the consequences.

To that end, Greer's defiance of Congress has now set a precident. The laws of the land are now not worth the ink and paper they are written with. Congress has no recourse at this point but to drop the hammer on Greer. If they don't, they have no right nor justification for penning new laws nor calling for enforcement of existing laws.

I do not want to see Terri being treated the way she is. I also do not think violence is the answer. I pray that a peaceful resolution can be reached that includes saving her life.

If the line of violent defiance is crossed in this matter, we will not be able to ever go back.

Mike

Contempt of Congress is a criminal matter and a felony. The proper procedure is for the President of the Senate or Speaker of The House to issue a resolution authorizing the US Attorney for the Middle District of Florida to prosecute Greer.

If this is not done, the legal system in this country has officially become a cesspool.

I agree with you on one hand, but I didn't mean defiance in the way it sounded. Isn't there a way that congress can send the gaurd or police in to take her into protective custody after what has now happened? Don't they take witnesses to crimes into protective custody before a hearing when their lives have been threatened?
