Perhaps someone ought to forge a document (not that hard to do, is it, Bush bashers?) stating that Terri hates America and there will be lefties crawling out of the woodwork demanding that she live!

Exactly my point. At what point is someone's life "not worth living"? Everyone has a RIGHT to life without extraordinary measures of survival - e.g. a ventilator, not a feeding tube.

I am an attorney. I don't know a lot about legislative processes, I am by no means expert. But I do know a litle something about subpoenas. A subpoena is an order of the court or congress that compels the person to appear. No one can interfere with it. That is why if you have ever been subpoenaed as witness in a trial, your employer must give you the day off. Anyone who interferes with the subpoena is in contempt.
The subpoena stated that feeding tube was not to be removed (and that may be a deficiency in the subpoena but Greer can't raise that issue himself) and Schiavo is to appear on March 28, 2005. Anyone who interferes with appearance before congress is now in contempt and has committed a crime. Greer, by keeping the order in place to remove the feeding tube is in contempt of congress.

Whats the harm in allowing her to attempt to have this life? A little therapy isn't much to ask, unless allowing that therapy would screwup your plans.

I suggest that if you are seeking any degree of credibility here, you may want to start with this statement. A brain-dead individual, by definition, does not breathe without assistance.

Good for you. I would only want that option after all other medical options were tried and failed. Michael Shiavo has barred anyone from trying any recuperative therapy, he has not allowed any attempts to allow oral ingestion of food and water and the thing that pisses me off the most, the man denied communion for her.
He does not have her best interests in mind AND not all medical options have been tried.

Actually not - she used to be fed with a spoon, which isn't exactly high technology. The original insertion of the feeding tube was for the convenience of the staff. They could probably go back to spoonfeeding tomorrow, but it's forbidden to feed her.
