You must not have payed very good attention to Sen. Frist--he said she hadn't had an MRI or PET in a while, and in order to diagnose PVS, you have to have many tests over a long period of time, because a person's mental state is "fluid", meaning that it changes all of the time, so 1 test or 2 tests, years apart without a neurologist's supervision between, would be worthless---

I was a medical assistant for a Neurolgist---I know about head injuries and this case is just too weird to be left to the judge that hasn't even seen her--

That's exactly Terri's case. She has had many brain scans, over and over again.

The facts of this case have been reviewed not only by the trial judge, but also by the appellate court. And multiple brain scans and doctor's explanations of the results were part of the record reviewed by the appellate judges.
