There is no greater responsibility for the Federal Government than to protect the lives of American citizens. In addition, the courts in Florida have usurped the will of the people by overturning what the legislature and the Governor have decided (i.e. the will of the people through the elected officials). The Congress is within its Constitutional boundaries to intervene here.

ohioWfan, you're right. Rush has just mentioned about this.

Having been doing much research on this problem, Isara.

The judiciary is the only way the left can overcome the 'consent of the governed.'

The legislatures, both State and Federal, are elected by the people, and when the state courts overrule the state legislature, they are overstepping their bounds.
