Yes. Basic therapy that patients normally receive has been denied to Terri. Three neurosurgeons who examined Terri stated in court documents that she is not PVS, and would benefit from traditional therapies.

Randall Terry was quoting someone else. You can find her exact quote if you're interested in knowing the truth.

Howlin, President Bush made a strong statement in favor of saving Terri yesterday. Have you seen it?

You're saying that Randall Terry described something. Now you're saying that he wasn't describing something he actually saw?

Now, explain this one more time: I'm not supposed to believe anything Michael Schiavo says, because he's an adulterous scumbag, but I'm supposed to believe everything said by another adulterous scumbag, Randall Terry?

Listening to Tom Delay just now, I'm not feeling as defeated as I was previously.

He is going to do everything he can using legal means to keep her from being murdered.

If she dies, I pray that it is indeed a phyrric victory for the enemy, because it results in the awakening of the sleeping giant of morality and righteousness in this country.

I guess we're supposed to believe an adulterous scumbag with second or third hand information, also known as hearsay.

Oh.

But which adulterous scumbag are we supposed to believe?

Randall Terry is doing a great job trying to save Terri's life. Nobody's perfect. I've sure made my mistakes. Probably worse than Terry Randall. Please give us a break.

I appreciate reasoned debate, Poohbah, but you're trying to be difficult here, and I don't have time to waste if you're not seriously interested in the discussion.

There was a woman whom Randall Terry was quoting. The woman made the statement to the press.

Randall Terry is not the point of the discussion.

I'm not basing my opinions about the case on Randall Terry.

You people are reaching here.

If you want to know what I think about the case, scroll back. I've made myself very clear.

Terry's quote was just for further information.

The woman was in the room with Terri today. If you want to call her a liar, feel free.

It was posted last night on the Dose. I can find it later, but I don't think the link was given.

I've got to go for a couple of hours, but after I get back, I'll find it for you.

That's good, but those who want her dead have no problems using illegal means though. Terri deserves life just as much as anyone. She cried when they told her that they were going to remove the feeding tube, she was very upset. She is hardly in a vegetative state; she just needs therapy to get to the state where she can communicate. She definitely wants to live, if they are successful in killing her it will be a very sad day for America.

I'm not reaching at all, I just wonder why it took 15 years for her to say in effect, she didn't want to die after someone told her "If only you could say you didn't want to die, this would be all over"

Michael has forbidden her from being contact, except under tightly controlled circumstances, by anyone who would not either wish her dead, or have a sufficient wish for her to live that any claim as to what she said could be dismissed. He has also forbidden any sort of sound or picture recording devices which could be used to bolster any such claims. I would be very surprised if Terri hasn't made such affirmative wishes known on many occasions, but Michael's prevented them from being meaningfully heard. [Bleep]-[Bleeping] [Bleep].

'The case of Terri Schiavo raises complex issues. Yet in instances like this one, where there are serious questions and sustantial doubts, our society, our laws, and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life, Bush said.

'Those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern. It should be our goal as a nation to build a culture of life where all Americans are valued, welcomed and protected--and that culture of life must extend to individuals with disabilities.'
