I can believe that, Sun.
I WILL NEVER, EVER, ALLOW A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY TO GO TO HOSPICE. (Guess I should say, if I have anything to say about it)
My attitude changed in 2003. Hospice has turned into a KILLING HOUSE, IMO.
My sister told me that a friend of hers was dying from cancer, and my sister and a group of friends prayed for her with a priest. Well, right after that the woman's spirits rose, and she regained her appetite, & her mom made her a sandwich.
THEN a lady from hospice came, and told the mother to please leave the room so she could be alone to talk with her daughter. When the mother next saw her daughter, her daughter was extremely depressed, and soon after that the young woman died.
Hospice takes away all hope.
Hospice...NEVER! I've made up my mind at this point. And this is an about-face for me.
