As radical as he is, Lewis was the "conservative" choice in the Democrat primary when he was elected to Congress in the 1980s. His opponent: pro-communist Julian Bond. That is one of the most liberal districts in the whole country. I guess it is central-city Atlanta, but I do not know the exact boundaries.

Rep. Tom Price (r). irreversible life changing decisions? a court of law, depends which kind of court. The congress can determine the jurisdiction. All state death penalty cases get a final review in court. Tom Price prayed this morning in church. It is right and just that we have a final set of responsible eyes to provide that final conscious review. It is our responsible to insure that right. THANK YOU REP. TOM PRICE. Georgia

Maybe then....but not now! Or on any vote he's made as far as I know.
