Yes, Lazzara is bad news indeed, but he won't be involved tonight in Terri's case.

They are going to send her case to federal judges in ATLANTA when the president signs the bill.

That's my understanding, from everything I've read so far.

Attorney David Gibbs told us this evening that the bill will go to a federal judge in Tampa, Florida after it's signed by President Bush. Hopefully, it will not go to Judge Lazzara. But any bill that appears before a Florida judge will be very very difficult to pass.

Gibbs filed an appeal about Terri's due process (or lack of) with the Eleventh District Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia. You can view the documents by clicking on the links:
