The intelligentsia supports George W. Greer because he is taking the issue position here that it supports. So if that means Greer thumbs his nose at Congress (and DeLay in particular), the more the intelligentsia likes it. Greer is actually far more daring (or hopefully foolhardy) than I thought he was.
Daring? Maybe, but only because he is really stupid. I envisioned him having late-night sessions with felos and the euthanasia church while they all proclaim greer some kind of god.
