i found this with just a few minutes of cruising, and it was the best of many. this issue cuts across party registration, and puts to rest the assertions of the likes of Peggy Noodlebrain that the GOP is in big trouble if they intervene because it will split the Republican Base. What is really going to happen is that it will energize the base and cement the crossover democrats in the deep South. we have seen on this board that there are a lot of Freeper Friends who are placing federalist issues above our concerns for Terri, but the bottom line is that this is good for Terri, and good for the Grand Old Party. I said once before that if Frist gets this done he's elected President in 08. DeLay has too much baggage and is too outspoken, but a valuable asset, but, IMHO not electable.
