I realize that action at Waco killed many people and Elian is now imprisoned in Cuba, but what I was referring to was TAKING ACTION AND USING FORCE. Apparently Gov. Bush is negotiating with DCF over who runs the state and Pres. Bush can only use force on foriegn soil.
President Kenndy in June of 63' federalized the Alabama National Guard and ordered some of its units to the Unversity of Alabama where then Governor George Wallace was "standing on the school steps" in defiance of federal de-segregation orders.
