I fear we may be at a point that by and large those in the legal profession give it their first allegiance and have been trained into a mindset that a de facto judicial oligarchy is considered right and just and necessary. A new elite, if you will, that truly doesn't trust the people with power.

You are exactly right, see A Passion for Justice (should be titled A Passion for Power).

Thank you for the article. Too bad she didn't bring to Terri's case the same passion she has for judges to understand the complex family situations in family court.
